Welcome to the second edition of our Employee Spotlight series where each month we’ll highlight some of the talented, motivated and spirited people who make up the Adnami family! Last time we introduced you to some of our fresh new faces who recently joined the team. This month you will meet three new and old faces from both our Danish and UK offices.
First you'll meet Alex Barstow, Publisher Director, who sits in our UK office and has been with Adnami for a year and a half. He’s currently binging his way through The Sopranos, Succession and Black Mirror. Next we have Mie Borg, Activation Director, has been with Adnami for two years and is based in Copenhagen. One thing you may not know about her, she spent most of her childhood riding horses. Last but not least, we have our newest addition in this month’s spotlight - Asghar Awan. Asghar, Software Engineer, is based in Copenhagen and is #fun #creative #relaxed and #optimistic.

Q: What is it like working at Adnami?
In my fairly lengthy media career it’s been the best job I have had and I’ve learnt so much in the last 1.5 years! There are so many great people who are all very knowledgeable, hard working but also know how to have a good time.
Q: Where is your happy place at home in the UK?
A country pub with a pint and a roaring fire, on a cold day. . .I'm English!
Q: What is your favourite part of your job?
Spending time with clients and seeing a campaign come to fruition from first call to completion all the way up to going live.
Q: What is something that people don’t know about you?
You’ll never know. . .
Q: (^) Great answer, so then what do you like to do in your free time?
Spend time with my 1.5 year old son Alfie and sleep (when he lets me).
Q: How long have you worked at Adnami and what is it like working here?
As one of the "seniors" (even though I've only being here for 2 years) I still find it truly amazing - and it’s even better with so many new faces joining almost every week!
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy a nice reformer class as often as possible, cooking, taking my dog Rex to the beach and traveling.
Q: What 3 words would you use to describe Adnami?
Transparent, “good-guys” and solution-oriented.
Q: What are you currently binge watching?
White Lotus - I’m totally fangirling over Jennifer Coolidge at the moment.
Q: How long have you worked at Adnami and what’s your favourite part about working here?
I moved to Denmark from Pakistan 4 years ago for my Masters education and have been here ever since. It has been a really great first 5 months at Adnami with a lot of learning and a lot of fun. Everyone here has been super nice and welcoming.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
To go skydiving and bungee jumping!
Q: What do you like most about what we do here at Adnami?
Apart from our cool high impact formats, I like the fact that the goal here at Adnami is to constantly improve and to be moving towards more automatic processes that simplify things for our clients.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
Play cricket, watch cricket, hang out with friends and sometimes practice playing music.
