An interactive scratch-to-reveal Standard Display format. A pre background (image or video) covers the frame and the user scratches it away — by hovering (desktop) or dragging (mobile) — to reveal a post background (the offer) underneath. Optional full-frame transparent overlays sit on top of each layer for branding and the reveal message. Part of the Fluid Display private-offering set.

Assets
Backgrounds are full-bleed and overlays are full-frame, so export one asset per size — a plate made for 970x250 will crop badly if reused at 300x600. The layers, bottom to top, are: post background (revealed) → pre background (cover, scratched away) → optional pre overlay → optional post overlay.
Pre Background (Cover) — required
Image (JPG, PNG, WEBP, max 250kb) or streaming video. Drawn 'cover' so it fills the frame and can crop — export at the exact frame dimensions per size. This is the layer the user scratches away.
Post Background (Reveal) — required
Image or streaming video, shown 'contain' (whole frame visible) with the surrounding area filled by a blurred copy of the media (Post Fill = Blurred Media) or the Background Colour. It's aspect-tolerant, but authoring close to the frame aspect gives the cleanest fill. Either layer can be image or video (MVP intent is video → video, but any combination works).
Pre Overlay (optional)
Full-frame transparent PNG, pinned to the whole frame ('contain'). Stays on top while scratching — use for branding / "scratch to reveal". Export one per size.
Post Overlay (optional)
Full-frame transparent PNG. Part of the revealed layer — it shows through the scratched areas while scratching and fully once revealed (offer + CTA). On full reveal the pre overlay fades out. Export one per size.
Format description and guidance
Add your default click URL, then the pre background (cover) and post background (reveal) — both required, image or video. Optionally add pre and post overlays to compose branding and the reveal message. Use either, both, or no overlays. Any live text renders accented and non-Latin characters correctly (UTF-8).
Scratch Mode (Hover / Drag) and Brush Size tune the interaction; the Hand Hint demonstrates scratching until the first interaction. For video, Audio Source selects which layer's audio plays.
Max total file weight
The combined file weight of all assets must not exceed 3.5 MB.

Optional — available when a video layer is used and Audio is set to Enabled (on by default).
