*Compressions technology will reduce the size of an average video ad from 3,5 MB to 1 MB, streaming delivery will further reduce data delivery to from 1 MB to 0,38 MB. Total data reduction: ~90%.
How to use streaming with Adnami
Step 1 – select your template
Video streaming is enabled on the template level within the Adnami platform. First select your format and then choose one of the templates with “Video Streaming”.
Streaming templates will be available for the majority of video enabled formats.
Step 2 – upload your video
Upload your video, Max 50 MB.
Step 3 – complete the creative setup
Complete setting up your creative and select “Continue” and followed by “Activate and Complete”.
Step 4 – transcoding your video
Now transcoding of your video will start.
If you go back to “Banner” settings, you will see it is transcoding.
You can also see that your video is transcoding when you preview the banner:
Transcoding can take anywhere between 1 – 15 minutes depending on your file size and how many videos are being transcoded at a given time.
At this stage, please note that the validation report will not give you a result until the video is fully transcoded.
Step 5 – activate your tag and enjoy
Now you are ready to activate the tag in your DSP and enjoy the benefits of Adnami adaptive streaming.
Please note that the validation report will not show until the transcoding is completed.
Tip: You can continue trafficking your creative tag, even if transcoding is not complete. No need to stop your workflow.
