What is curation?

Curation is a smarter, more strategic way to buy and sell programmatic media. It involves packaging premium inventory, enriched with data and targeting capabilities, into streamlined deals that deliver better outcomes for both advertisers and publishers.

At Adnami, curation connects the right brands with the right environments—combining high-impact formats with handpicked placements, local market expertise, and attention-optimised performance. It removes complexity while increasing control, transparency, and value across the media supply chain.

Advertiser benefits

Curation simplifies and strengthens your programmatic media buying. For advertisers and agencies, it offers a powerful combination of efficiency, control, and performance.

By working with a trusted curator like Adnami, you gain access to high-quality inventory that’s been pre-vetted for brand safety and relevance. This means irrelevant placements are filtered out before a bid even reaches your DSP—saving time and reducing wasted spend.

Curation also streamlines campaign workflows. Instead of managing multiple direct publisher relationships, you can rely on Adnami’s deep knowledge of the local media landscape. We handle the deal management, so you don’t have to. Plus, curated deals are optimised for high impact, attention-driven formats—ensuring better performance across the board.

Publisher benefits

Curation gives publishers a more direct, efficient, and profitable path to monetisation—especially in a post-cookie world.

By reducing the number of intermediaries in the supply chain, curation streamlines operations and simplifies deal execution. Publishers can enrich inventory using their own first-party or contextual data, increasing the value of impressions and enabling more accurate pricing.

Curation also helps publishers take back control. Rather than relying on third-party data, curated deals allow publishers to shape their inventory offering, package it with strategic insights, and maximise revenue potential. It’s a more transparent, future-proof approach to programmatic sales.

Setting up a curated deal

After filling out our deal request form, you'll receive the deal directly to your DSP.

Once you request a deal through the Adnami suite or directly with your Adnami contact, you will receive a file containing all the necessary information for your DSP setup

  • Deal Name
  • Deal ID
  • Required Creative Sizes
  • Floor Price
  • SSP used: we use Xandr Curate

Setting Up the Deal in Your DSP

You will typically locate the deal within the Negotiation section of your DSP.

Floor Price and Bidding Strategy

You may notice that the price shown in the deal is often €0. This depends on Xandr Curate platform and you need to rely on the Floor Price provided in the file we send you.

Keep in mind that this is the FLOOR price, meaning it's the minimum bid required to be considered. Your actual bid should be set to account for:

  • Your DSP's fee.
  • A slight increase above the floor price to ensure you are competitive.

Pro Tip: During busy periods or times of high demand, you may need to increase your bid further to secure the desired impressions.

Creative Sizes and Implementation

Curated deals are structured based on the specific formats and countries you are targeting. For some regions, a deal may include more than one size. It is essential that you upload all the sizes listed in the provided file.

You can follow these steps for correct implementation:

  • Push the Tag: Upload or push the creative tag from the Adnami suite directly into your DSP.
  • Duplicate and Adjust Dimensions (for Multiple Sizes): If the deal includes multiple sizes you must duplicate the creative tag within your DSP for each size.

For each duplicate:

  • Update the dimensions in the DSP's settings.
  • Manually adjust the dimensions within the tag code itself to match the new size.

This manual adjustment is important to help DSPs like Xandr properly accept the creatives.

Creative Acceptance (Xandr)

For platforms such as Xandr, creative acceptance can take up to 24 hours. If this process is taking longer than expected or if your creatives are rejected, please feel free to reach out to us for more assistance!
