Step-by-step guide
1. Gather content from the client's profile
Start by collecting relevant copy and assets — messaging, CTAs, taglines, and product descriptions, brand guidelines. The AI uses this to tailor the ad's copy and tone directly to the brand.
2. Create a new campaign and choose a format
Create a new creative in Adnami and select your format. For a quick mock-up, start with, for example, Desktop Midscroll or Topscroll 1920×1080, and choose Zip file as the material type under Banner.
3. Open a new HTML5 file — or edit an existing one
Once you've selected Zip file, you can either create a new zip from scratch or pick up an existing one to edit.
4. Describe what you want
This is where the creative work begins. Upload the assets you've collected (logos, product images, video) and write a prompt for the AI. The more specific, the better.
"Create a mobile ad for [brand] with logo, a CTA button that says 'Read more', and a soft fade animation. Colours should match the website."
You can write your prompt in any language!
5. Preview and refine
Save a preview and review the result. Want to adjust something — move the logo, change the CTA colour, or swap an animation? Click edit inside the creative and send a new prompt with your changes.
Tips for best results
- First time? Start with a simple format like Midscroll before moving to more complex layouts.
- Keep your first prompt focused — don't try to include too many elements at once.
- Upload a logo and any product images or video as assets if you have them. That said, a website URL alone is enough to get started.
AI labelling requirements — EU regulation from August 2026
The European Commission is introducing requirements to mark and label AI-generated content, including content used in banners and ads. Here is how Adnami's AI Creative Builder relates to that:
Using the Creative Builder does not require AI labelling as the tool assembles HTML creatives from assets you supply — it does not independently generate images, video, or copy.
This puts it in the same category as the work most developers do every day: combining and structuring provided materials into a finished format. A human reviews and approves the output before anything is published, which means editorial responsibility stays with the user.
If Adnami adds features that generate images or video from scratch in the future, this assessment may change. For now, the tool functions as an assembly aid, not a content generator.
For reference, see the European Commission's draft Code of Practice on marking and labelling of AI-generated content. This is a general guidance note — for specific legal questions, consult your legal team.
