First Time User: Uploading Adnami Creatives to DV360 & Setting Up Programmatic Deals ✅

This step-by-step guide will help you upload Adnami creatives into DV360 and link them correctly to a Programmatic Deal. Always ensure that the creative dimensions match the deal dimensions, and that you’re bidding at or above the floor price.

 


STEP 1: Copy the Adnami Tag

  1. Log into Adnami and find the creative you want to use.

  2. Copy the third-party tag provided for DV360.


STEP 2: Create a Third-Party Display Creative in DV360

  1. Go to your DV360 advertiser account.

  2. Navigate to Creatives > click New > select Third-Party Display.

  3. Paste the Adnami tag in the “Third-party tag” field.

  4. Insert the correct dimensions — these must match what’s specified in the PMP deal or by the publisher.

  5. Save and wait for DV360 to approve the creative (this can take up to 24h).


STEP 3: Create a Line Item & Assign Creative

  1. Go to your Insertion Order and click New Line Item.

  2. Choose a display line item.

  3. Assign the Adnami creative you just created.

  4. Set targeting as needed (geo, audience, device, etc.).


STEP 4: Assign the PMP Deal 

  1. In the Inventory Source section of the line item:

    • Search for and assign the deal ID from the publisher to your Line Item

  2. Make sure the deal dimensions match the creative. If not, it won’t serve.


STEP 5: Set Your Bid Above the Floor Price 💰

  • Check the floor price specified in the PMP deal.

  • Make sure your fixed bid or dynamic bid is equal to or higher than the floor. Otherwise, your ad will not be eligible to serve.


STEP 6: Activate and Monitor 🚦

  1. Activate the Line Item once everything is in place.

  2. After activation, monitor performance using:

    • Troubleshooter in DV360 to diagnose delivery issues.

    • Reporting dashboards to track impressions, clicks, and pacing.
