Step-by-step: Hosting and wrapping in Adnami

The Fluid Skin is slightly more complex to wrap than some of our other formats. But don't worry–our Ad Operations Manager Nicoline will guide you through the hosting and wrapping-process step-by-step in this video. Prefer reading? Scroll down for the written guide.

Before you start: Log in to the suite as normal with your user credentials. The Fluid Skin is set up by hosting the top banner, the left banner and the right banner separately, and then combining them in the full template.

Step 1: Create the Fluid Skin Campaign

  • Go to Create Campaign and choose Fluid Skin.
  • Fill in the Organisation, the Account and the Country. Campaign name will be filled in automatically.
  • For Fluid Skin, you don't need to add your Click URL, as it will be added in the banners separately (we'll get to that). You can just write an "x" to proceed (the field needs to be filled to go forward).
  • Click Add Third Party Tag. Here you will later add the tags you're getting from step 2, 3 and 4 (top banner, left banner, right banner).

Step 2: Host the Top Banner

  • Create a new tab in your browser and log in to the suite. Navigate to Create Campaign.
  • Choose Fluid Skin Responsive Top and fill in the Organisation and Account like in step 1.
  • Add a Background layer and Foreground layer (overlay)Your foreground layer must be a PNG. (In the example, Nicoline uses a color, but you can also have a text, image or whatever you like in your PNG.)
  • Add the Click URL where you want to direct the audience.
  • If you want to add a video in the top banner. Choose True under "Show video on top".
  • If you want to show a teaser video when the user first sees the Skin, and full length when they actually click on the video, then upload two separate videos. If not, you can use the same video and upload twice.
  • You can add a video fallback image which can include a key message or a CTA. Shown in the end of your video.
  • To save and proceed, click create campaign -> save -> publish -> tags.
  • Copy the tags under ADNAMI SUITE and go back to your original Fluid Skin campaign (first tab) and add the Adnami hosting tags under Third Party Tags -> Top Banner Tag. Press OK.

Step 2: Host the Left Banner

  • Create a new tab and log in to the suite. Navigate back to Create Campaign.
  • Choose Fluid Skin Responsive Left and fill in the Organisation and Account like in step 1.
  • Add the Click URL.
  • Choose the Asset type, i.e. if you want the left side to be a video or an image. Add the asset under Background Asset.
  • If you want to add a Content Layer (overlay) above, you can do it now.
  • To save and proceed, click create campaign -> save -> publish -> tags.
  • Copy the tags under ADNAMI SUITE and go back to your original Fluid Skin campaign and add the Adnami hosting tags under Third Party Tags -> Left Banner Tag. Press OK.

Step 3: Host the Right Banner

  • Follow the same steps as with the left banner but choose Fluid Skin Responsive Right under Create Campaigns and Right Banner Tag when you paste the tags in the Fluid Skin campaign.

Step 4: Check the final results

  • When you've added your three tags, press save -> lightning -> preview.
  • If you want to do any changes to your creative, go back to the hosting and edit the assets. Your tags will remain the same so no need to paste new tags in your third party tags.

There! Now you're good to go. Your final tags will be under the Fluid Skin.
